Now the web-agitators are wondering why the major news outlets didn't cover the dinner or Colbert's speech. Why indeed. I signed a petition asking for such coverage. If you'd like to, go here:

His routine was brutal and right on, whether he was targeting the administration or the press. I've heard that part about how some on the left are complaining that Colbert got little to no coverage from the mainstream press for his speech; I've also heard some on the right complain that the press didn't rake him over the coals like they did Imus when he tore into Clinton. People will complain no matter what, I guess...
