Jerry and his financee Jen decided to have their wedding ceremony on an Alaskan cruise. I didn't want to miss Jerry's wedding, but getting a room on a cruise by yourself is expensive, so I sent out the call for roommates. Barbara and Lisa agreed to be my shipmates. We three were cruise newbies; Jerry and Jen were not, nor were Matt and Michelle K., who decided to join our Alaska party.

The cruise proved to be an amazing trip for all of us. Starting with one night in a luxurious Doubletree Suites room in Seattle, followed by one week aboard the Diamond Princess, we traveled to Alaska, the Yukon Territory, and British Columbia. About the only problem with the trip was that it had to end.
