This year, Bob turned 50 on New Year's Eve. We decided to throw him a Hawaii 5-0-themed party for the big occasion. But we wanted it to be a surprise. So, we had his birthday dinner the day before to throw him off.

Meanwhile, we planned the real party for his actual birthday on New Year's Eve at Kyle's house. Tom filmed a Hawaii 5-0 parody starring Kyle, Tim, Craig, and me. Brian cooked a pig, Leigh grilled Spamkabobs, and most everyone got into the Hawaii luau spirit. I also performed "Tiny Bubbles" as Don Ho.

The combination New Year's Eve party and surprise 50th birthday party for Bob was a rousing success!
