This year proved to be a bit dusty, though nowhere near as bad as the Dust Bowl of '05. But it was bad enough that I got bandanas for Barbara, Michelle, and me before Day 2, and they came in handy. Also coming in handy, the rum that I bought before heading out on Day 2. Llght rum. You know, the type that's clear. Like, um, water.

The highlights of this year's show for me were Jakob Dylan, the Raconteurs, Beck, Against Me!, CSS, MGMT, and of course the closing act, Foo Fighters. Silversun Pickups were good too. Robert Plant was wayyyy too mellow with Alison Krauss. Manu Chao was cool at first, but then every song started sounding the same. The Swell Season was borrrrring, and the Mars Volta was just noise.
